Dennis Post, owner of PostCard Travel Planning has public service in his bones. He served 22 years in the U.S. Coast Guard and is a veteran firefighter as well.

While he was still actively serving in the Coast Guard, Dennis and his wife, Amy decided to start a travel agency in 2015 with the motto, “We serve those who serve.” That’s where the idea for their First Responders’ Cruise came from.

Last year Amy and Dennis Post planned the inaugural First Responders’ Cruise and it was such a hit, that it’s now officially an annual event. More than 80 firefighters, police officers, nurses, military folks, and teachers were on board for the 2024 sailing. The Posts will welcome even more everyday heroes on board the Norwegian Cruise Line’s Epic in 2025.

“We anticipate having around 150 first responders and their families join us in March,” Post said.

Come Cruise With Me Founder Dan Kline will be joining the cruise to celebrate first responders.

“It’s an honor to get to help people who give us so much have an epic cruise,” Kline shared.

The 2025 cruise will be on the Norwegian Cruise Line’s Epic and is scheduled to depart Port Canaveral in Orlando and head to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic), St. Thomas, Tortola, and then a stop at Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas before returning to Orlando. Every stop along the way offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure.

“We are even planning to charter a boat to Soggy Dollar Beach,” said Post, “the place Kenny Chesney writes songs about.”

The cruise honors first responders, but you do not have to be one to join in on the fun.

For the 2025 cruise – March 8-15, 2025 – the trip will include an unlimited adult drink package, $100 onboard credit per cabin, and up to two specialty dining experiences at one of the three specialty restaurants on the ship. Postcard Travel Planning will also host a private cocktail party, bar crawl, and casino slot pull during the days at sea.

Trips start at $1,221 per person for an inside cabin and go up to $1,875 per person for a Club Cabin.

“No one can beat our pricing,” added Post.

Just one of the many things that makes the First Responders’ Cruise unique is that Amy and Dennis Post, a handful of their agents, and Dan Kline will be on board to make sure their guests have access to dining and special events.

“Being aboard with our guests is the best way to make sure they are taken care of,” he said.

Kline is excited to get to be part of the fun.

“I want to salute the people who keep us safe and do jobs that often require sacrifice,” he said. “My job on the cruise, is to make sure everyone has fun they deserve.
