Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas has consistently been the cruise line’s most popular destination since it was overhauled in 2019.

Royal Caribbean group transformed the island from a basic beach that required using tender ships to get there, to an extension of its ships which can now dock at the island. the new Perfect Day at CocoCay offers more than just a beach and bar experience.

“Perfect Day at CocoCay continues to perform exceptionally well, and we are reaching important milestones on Royal Beach Club Paradise Island opening in 2025 and Royal Beach Club in Cozumel, Mexico opening in 2026,” he shared.

Royal Caribbean Beach Clubs are coming

While Royal Caribbean has talked about the beach clubs before, it has not given a specific timeline for opening them. That’s something Royal Caribbean International CEO Michael Bayley fixed recently as he shared a timeline for its new private destinations during a question and answer session on the World Cruise.

His remarks were first reported by the Royal Caribbean Blog, which is not affiliated with the cruise line.

“We’re aiming to have the Royal Beach Club [in the] Bahamas open towards the end of next year,” Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean President and CEO, announced during the Q&A session.

Royal Caribbean’s timeline is as follows:

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: between October-December 2025Royal Beach Club Cozumel: 2026Perfect Day at Lelepa: 2026 or 2027

Construction has already begun on the Paradise Royal Beach Club in Nassau, Bahamas, which is visible from ships when they dock in the port.

“These projects are underway, and the one in the Bahamas is well underway,” Bayley added.

He also shared what passengers can expect at the Beach Clubs during the second quarter earnings call.

“It’s a Beach Club experience. It’s exactly what our customers are looking for when they go to the Caribbean. They are seeking an experience on the beach. So it’s a Royal Caribbean Beach Club. It will fit very well into Perfect Day, particularly for the short product market. You can spend a day in Perfect Day and then the next day, you can spend a day in the Beach Club,” he said.

Bayley is very confident about the Beach Clubs.

“So it’s kind of like totally perfect. And we think we’re going to see very strong demand for the product. We’ve deployed — we’ve got our itinerary set for the Beach Clubs as they come online,” he added.
