The Las Vegas Strip’s headliner showrooms are constantly signing performers for new residencies and extending existing engagements many months into the future.

Superstar 1970s singer Barry Manilow opened his residency off the Strip at the International Theater at the Westgate Las Vegas in February 2005 and continues performing through Dec. 13, 2025.

Donny Osmond, the 1970s teen idol, performed a long-running residency in Vegas with his sister Marie Osmond that ran for 11 years before closing in November 2019. He launched his solo residency at Caesar Entertainment’s CZR Harrah’s Showroom in August 2021 and on Sept. 9 extended his engagement for 70 more shows from Feb. 11 through June 7, 2025.

Mr. Las Vegas Wayne Newton has 30 more shows scheduled on his residency at Bugsy’s Cabaret at the Flamingo on the Strip running from Oct. 2 through Dec. 30. No word yet on whether he will extend that engagement. 

Superstar pop singer Lionel Richie has a long-running residency on the Strip dating back to 2019 at the Encore Theater at Wynn Resorts’  (WYNN)  Wynn Las Vegas and has sold out over 40 performances since he launched the engagement.

Richie extends his “King of Hearts” residency at the Encore Theater for six more shows that are scheduled for Jan. 15, 18, 19, April 9, 11, and 12, 2025.

Before launching his residency at the Encore Theater, Richie headlined his “All The Hits” residency at Caesars Entertainment’s  (CZR)  Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas in 2016-2018.

Maroon 5 extends Las Vegas Strip residency  

Superstar pop rock band Maroon 5, led by lead singer and former “The Voice” judge Adam Levine, will return to MGM Resorts International’s  (MGM)  Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas for a third-straight year as it has scheduled eight more shows in March 2025 on its M5LV The Residency.

In a Sept. 29 message on its Maroon 5 S.I.N. Club web page, the band said that due to high demand and its sold-out weekend shows on Sept. 27-28, the group is adding shows on March 7, 8, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, and 22, 2025.

Fan Club, Citi Cardmember, Official Platinum, and Fan Club Bundle, presales begin Oct. 1 at 10 a.m., Pacific time, at Ticketmaster.com. Live Nation, Ticketmaster, SiriusXM, and Media Presales begin Oct. 2, 10 a.m., Pacific.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster for the band’s six remaining shows this year Oct. 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12, 2024, at Dolby Live, starting at $79 before taxes and fees.

Maroon 5 launched the M5LV residency on March 24, 2023, for 16 shows in March, April, July and August of last year. The band subsequenly added 16 more shows in May, June, September and October 2024.

The Los Angeles-based band has sold over 96 million albums, 658 million singles and has over 22 billion combined streams on Spotify. The band’s “Moves Like Jagger” single in January 2023 was listed as the No. 2 most downloaded song in music history.
