While the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving is a great time to score some Black Friday flight deals, the travel industry includes more than just airlines.Â
This year, there are also several deals on everything from hotel and cruise packages to travel gear.

You can score some serious discounts on these tours and cruises
For those eying a tour across multiple countries, travel company Contiki is offering 25% off tours like the Thai Island Hopper, which goes from Bangkok to islands such as Phuket and Ko Phi Phi. Or how about the European Discovery itinerary, which starts in London and then moves through Germany, Italy, and France over the course of 12 days? For either, travel needs to be booked between now and the end of Dec. 3.

Competing tour organizer EF Ultimate Break is holding its own Black Friday sale for journeys to Kenya, Thailand, Japan, Switzerland and the Greek Islands. The programs are tailored for youth between 18 and 35 years old, while the deals include a 40% discount on its 11-day Thailand Getaway ($1,449 instead of $2,559) and 30% off its Kenyan-African Safari tour ($2,799 instead of $4,299). Spots are filling up fast; the discounted prices will only be available until the end of Nov. 29.

Carnival (CCL) -owned Holland America Line offers an across-the-board Black Friday discount of 25% off its worldwide itineraries for those who feel like a leisurely cruise is more their speed. At the same time, Virgin Voyages has several $99 “Lock-It-In Rates” to bring a second person on cruises across the Caribbean and Europe. The promotion will end on Dec. 3.
On the hotel front, Hilton (HLT)  has a “Season to Stay” sale, taking 20% off its properties across the U.S. and Canada, while Hyatt (H)  matched improved on that deal with its own “Season of Savings” of up to 25% off over 800 resorts in the Caribbean and Latin America plus regular hotels in Canada and the U.S. The latter sale needs to be booked by Dec. 9 for stays between November 2024 and April 2025, while the Hilton offer lasts until Jan. 5, 2025, but is significantly more tailored to specific dates (meaning that one will have to hunt around for deals rather than find price drops on particular hotels one wanted to visit).

Need some new travel gear? There are Black Friday sales for that, too
While Black Friday shopping has by now almost entirely moved online (fully blurring the line between Black Friday and Cyber Monday), its history dates back to people rushing to retail establishments to score deals on various home goods â in the travel space, that primarily means luggage, packing gear and travel tech.
Amazon (AMZN)  is offering discounts on its own Hardside Spinner and the Travelpro Maxlite Air Hardside Expandable suitcases. San Francisco-based luggage company Aer is having a Black Friday sale that ends on Dec. 2, offering 20% off its minimal-style hard shell luggage. British leather goods company Carl Friedrik is also having a 30% off site-wide sale on its suitcases and weekender leather bags.
Electronics company Anker is having a Black Friday sale, offering 27% and 28% off (a nod to the days around Thanksgiving) on its power banks, while tumbler company Stanley 1919 is having a BLACKFRIDAY25 sale on products like its viral quencher cups.
