Las Vegas Strip casinos host some of the biggest names in music for residencies, and in many cases, the headliners extend their engagements many months and years into the future.
Legendary rock star Rod Stewart debuted his “Hits” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2011, and after 13 years and 200 shows, the “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” singer closed the show on Aug. 7, 2024.
Rockin’ Rod loves performing in Las Vegas so much that he signed on for six shows in March 2025 and another six shows in May and June 2025 on his new “The Encore Shows Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum.

Classic rock star Carlos Santana has headlined a long-running residency on the Las Vegas Strip since 2012, performing over 300 shows to sold-out audiences.
Santana in November 2024 extended his “An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live” residency at the MGM Resorts International’s (MGM) House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip with 16 more shows in January, February, and May 2025.
Unfortunately, the band’s frontman had to cancel his January and February shows after breaking a finger in an accidental fall at his vacation home in Hawaii. The band did not reschedule the canceled shows but still has eight shows planned for May 2025.
1970s pop superstar Barry Manilow has been performing in the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas for over 19 years since February 2005. He also performed shows at Paris Las Vegas on the Strip.
Manilow in September 2023 broke Elvis Presley’s record of 636 sold-out shows in the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas just off the Strip, which had previously been the Las Vegas Hilton and International Hotel when Elvis performed.
The “Copacabana” singer may perform at the International Theater for the remainder of his career as he in December 2024 accepted a lifetime residency at the casino’s 1,582-seat International Theater.

Donny Osmond adds artificial intelligence to his show
The Osmond Brother’s residency shows have evolved with the advancement of technology as the singer introduces artificial intelligence to his show, using multi-track audio recordings from 50 years ago and original video from the 1970s to reimagine Donny’s “Puppy Love” hit song from 1972.
Osmond incorporates a 3-D A.I. version of his 14-year-old self singing the song in a duet live on stage. The singer also performs his “Auto-rap-ography,” a rap song that includes photos and videos from his six-decade career.
The show includes a full Broadway production of his Disney hit from “Mulan,” “I’ll Make a Man Out of You.” Osmond also encourages audience participation in a segment where fans can request any song he’s ever recorded.
