Between climate disasters, extreme weather, and declining infrastructure, it’s not uncommon for folks to find themselves suddenly without power these days. Even if you live in a safer area than most, you don’t want to be without some means of keeping your devices charged and connected in the event of an emergency. Luckily, Walmart is currently offering a Flash Deal on a $600 Efurden Portable Generator — just $299 right now.

On a full tank of gasoline, this 2,500-watt generator will deliver up to nine and a half hours of continuous power on one-quarter load, six hours of continuous use for a 50% load, or three and a half hours of power at a 100% load. It features two 120-volt AC outlets, a DC socket, USB ports (including Quick Charge 3.0 Type-C support), and various safety features, such as a carbon monoxide alert and automatic low-oil shutdown.

One Walmart reviewer called the Efurden generator “superb,” saying it delivers the kind of performance you’d expect from far more expensive alternatives. “I purchased two, followed by the parallel kit to operate my RV air conditioner,” they continued. “I also use them to keep the freezer and refrigerator running in the event of a power outage.”

“It’s been incredibly reliable,” wrote another shopper. “I was amazed at how well it worked after resting for a bit and then getting back up and running again without any issues.” Most reviews also mention being surprised at how quiet it generally is; Efurden says it operates at about 55 decibels from 28 feet, and it weighs just 39.8 pounds.

Whether you work remotely or just hate the thought of high-priced groceries going bad during a power outage, the Efurden Portable Generator is a phenomenal value at this price. Add enough gasoline to keep it running for the duration of the outage, and it should solve a lot of your most common weather-related worries.
