It’s great that we’re finally at a point now where some of the best services from companies behind major smartphone platforms are no longer locked to their own device ecosystems, and you can access Gemini on your iPhone as easily as you can watch Apple TV on your Pixel. But just because those doors are open doesn’t mean that users will get the same experience everywhere, and it’s not uncommon to see a bit of disparity. Apple Music has been on Android for over a decade now, but lately the Android app has felt like it’s lacking some of the polish of its iOS sibling. That’s now starting to at least get a little better, with the release of Apple Music 7.0 for Android.
Over on X, user Sumanta Das gave us a heads-up that the app’s new look was rolling out. Sure enough, we can confirm that users registered for the Apple Music beta are now receiving a refreshed UI. Take a look at how it compares:
