So basically I’ve been working on a desktop app for the past year, and I feel it’s ready to be posted (stability, performance and feature-wise).
The app is called RGB Master and started as a hobby project that synced my Yeelight light bulbs with my Razer keyboard. It since then has grown to support many more vendors/providers and many more effects. Its purpose is to sync your RGB peripherals with each other, either to a specific color and brightness or either by effects (e.g music effect, dominant screen color effect, gradient/flow sync effect), etc..
As of now, we support – Razer Chroma, Yeelight, Logitech (mice only atm), MagicHome, SteelSeries and Phillips Hue.
The app strives to give the best performance on all of its effects, be it the time of connecting/disconnecting to devices, turning them on/off or changing properties like brightness and color.
Obviously support for more vendors and providers will be added with time, but is very difficult as I’m limited to my own peripherals and cannot afford to buy all the peripherals I want to support.
Do note – this is an actively developed app, and while we do consider it to be in a very stable place you may still stumble upon some issues that we cannot reproduce ourselves – which is exactly why feedback helps getting the app better.
We keep updating every new version that comes both in Discord and on GitHub with full release notes on the releases page.
So go ahead and get it, let me know what you think – and feel free to ask any question here or on our Discord server!
