Why we love this deal
Throw blankets can be used during any season, but there’s something about fall that makes it extra cozy. The weather is perfectly cool, and you can wrap yourself up into a comfortable cocoon to warm up, whether you’re watching a movie on the couch or reading a book in bed. However, throw blankets can be surprisingly expensive, ranging anywhere from $10 to well over $100, if not more. Luckily, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is right around the corner, and there are some early discounts you can get now.
The Eddie Bauer Reversible Throw Blanket is one of them, and it’s on sale for only $17 with a clippable coupon. Normally, you can get it for $35, but with 51% off, it’s under $20. Since the retailer closed all of its physical stores in April 2026, it’s the perfect time to buy this Eddie Bauer favorite. With more than 5,000 blankets sold in the last month, it’s safe to say it’s a popular pick.

Why do shoppers love it?
If you’ve been looking for your new favorite fall blanket, your search is over. This Eddie Bauer throw is as cozy as it gets, all with an affordable price tag. It’s a standard-size throw with a design that screams “fall.” On one side, there’s a smooth, brushed fleece with a red plaid pattern, which is perfect for the fall season. It gives any space a bit of rustic charm that makes you feel like you’re in a cabin. On the other side, you get faux shearling material that’s extra plush and warm.
Not only do you get two looks and textures in one, but it’s also easy to maintain. It’s machine washable, so you can keep it clean all season long. If you’ve ever washed a faux fur or faux shearling blanket, we know what you might be wondering: Will this fall apart and shed after one wash? According to one customer, not at all. In fact, its ability to maintain its quality after washing and drying it was one thing that “really stood out” to one shopper. “There was barely any lint in the lint trap,” they said.
