The stress of the holidays may be over, but for many people, that’s just a slight increase in the anxieties of everyday life. Among all of the great ways to control rising stress levels, many find that cozying up under a weighted blanket can have additional relaxing effects and help relieve some stress.
While weighted blankets can often be quite expensive, Amazon is currently offering this $80 ZonLi Weighted Blanket for only $35. That is $40 on sale plus an additional $5 off if you add the additional coupon before adding it to your cart.
ZonLi Weighted Blanket, $35 (was $80) at Amazon
This blanket comes in various sizes and weights ranging from 10 pounds to 25 pounds, and 48 by 72 inches or 60 by 80 inches. The 20-pound, 60 by 80-inch option is currently available at the greatest discount, but most of the others are currently marked down as well.
The blanket is made with a combination of lining, cotton padding, glass beads, and an exterior of soft microfiber fabric. Because of the multiple layers, you get an evenly dispersed weight without feeling the texture or pressure of individual beads.
“From the first time I slept under this blanket, I knew it was the thing that had been missing from my life,” said one shopper. “I never want to sleep without this. Even though it is in excellent condition after more than a year of daily use, I’m already thinking of buying another just in case anything happens to it. I highly recommend it!”
When choosing the proper weight of your blanket, Sleep Foundation suggests looking for something that’s approximately 10% of your body weight. That said, if you prefer a more or less pressure, you want to go in the direction that feels best to you.
“I am really a fan of this blanket,” said one shopper. “I have PTSD and sometimes I have a very difficult time sleeping. I got the 48 by 72-inch, 12 pounds after much deliberation because not everyone agrees on what a ‘good’ or ‘too heavy’ or ‘too light’ amount of weight is. However, I think the description is pretty good. It suggests 12 pounds for a 100- to 140-pound person. I’m 115 pounds, right in the middle, and it’s perfect for me.”
This blanket is on sale currently, but we can’t promise that the sale will last. Shop now before the price goes up — or stock runs out!
