Why we love this deal
The picture-perfect fall day includes sipping a warm beverage while nestled up reading a good book. Comfy pants and fuzzy blankets, while not required, can elevate the occasion, but one non-negotiable is the ultra-cozy chair that you can cuddle up in for hours. Recliners, armchairs, and oversized chaise lounges all fit the bill, but there’s no comfy accent chair as iconic or distinctive as the papasan chair. A papasan chair is essentially a giant cushion, so you feel like being hugged by a cloud, but it also offers a touch of retro flair for a perfect balance of comfort and style in your space.
Adding a papasan chair to your reading nook, living room, or bedroom is now more affordable, with Amazon’s early Prime deal taking 33% off the OSP Home Furnishings Wicker Papasan Chair. The highly rated chair has amassed over 5,700 five-star ratings, so you can feel confident it’s up to the challenge of becoming your new favorite chair. The limited-time deal brings the $224 price tag down to only $150. While several colorways are available, the sale is specific to the neutral-colored brown frame and beige cushion, which blends nicely with most interior decor styles.

Why do shoppers love it?
The laid-back boho style of a papasan chair brings a sense of calmness and tranquility to whichever space you place it. Upgrading the traditional design, this papasan chair features a 360-degree swivel base, so you can face the living room when guests are visiting, or quickly turn around to watch color-changing leaves out the window. Much of the chair’s charm comes from its wicker base, but this one is extra-sturdy, as it has a metal base wrapped in durable resin wicker.

If you’ve never sat in a papsan chair, it’s quite the treat. The curved design cradles your body as you’re lounging, enveloping you in its plush cushion. This chair’s cushion features an elegant button-tufted design, which has the added benefit of evenly distributing the fluffy filling. The cushion is securely tied to the frame, but if you ever spill anything on the seat, it’s easily removed for simplified clean-up. One shopper, who called the seat “perfect for my reading space,” gave their chair review after a year of use: “It’s very cozy, the swivel is perfect, and the cushion is very fluffy — and a year later it’s still just as plush.”
