- Amazon has launched the Echo Show 16 in the US, featuring a nanomatte display option, ten powerful speakers, and Fire TV support.
- The company also announced its first-ever Alexa-powered photo frame, available in standard, Walnut, or Birch wood options.
- While the Alexa Photo Frame will be available as early as next week, the Echo Show 16 may not be available until the second half of December.
Amazon has historically sold smart displays in multiple sizes, ranging from the Echo Show 5 to the Echo Show 15 and the significantly larger Echo Show 21. These Alexa-powered displays handle all the traditional smart home tasks you’d expect, and some even include built-in Fire TV. Amazon is adding a new 16-inch option to this segment, along with its first-ever Alexa-enabled photo frame.
Amazon says the Echo Show 16 is its most powerful smart display yet, featuring a 16-inch screen, available in standard and Nanomatte versions, with the latter adding an anti-glare coating similar to the recently released Alexa Tablet 12 Pro. You can wall-mount it or place it on a table or counter with an adjustable stand, and Amazon lets you choose either option at the time of purchase.
