Carnival Cruise Line refers to its fleet as the Fun Ships, and a big part of that marketing effort is the numerous parties and social events that take place on its cruises.
For example, Carnival is well known for its sailaway parties on the pool deck, which are often packed with people dancing and are sometimes recorded by passengers from other cruise ships as they pass in the port.
In addition to the sailaway parties, Carnival (CCL) offers a lineup of other popular events. The White-Hot Night Party, for example, is a late-night event where cruisers wear their most creative white outfits and dance the night away. The ’80s Rock-N-Glow Party is another favorite of Carnival cruisers, as it features an entire night of theme parties and 1980s costumes.

Some of the more popular parties are rather standard throughout the fleet (specifically the ’80’s Rock-N-Glow), but several other events are offered only on certain ships.

Carnival’s special events and deck parties
Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald recently shared a list of the current special events and deck parties for Carnival’s entire fleet, ship by ship.
To be sure, these aren’t a permanent list and will be updated again in coming months. But if you’re taking a Carnival cruise within the next few months, here’s what to expect:
