When most people think of Costco, they picture aisles loaded with bulk packages of paper towels, cleaning products, and other household essentials.

If you’re someone who shops at the store often, you’re probably used to Costco’s supersized offerings. And you might appreciate being able to bring home enormous bags of chips and giant cases of water so you don’t have to constantly run back to the store to restock.

Costco’s aisles are loaded with hidden treasures

If you’ve ever tuned into a Costco earnings call (which, granted, you may not be inclined to do unless you own the stock), you’ve probably heard the company’s management team talk about the Costco “treasure hunt.”

And it’s not just company execs who like to use that term.

You’ll often hear people compare shopping at Costco to going on a treasure hunt because the more carefully you look around, the more hidden gems you might find in the form of awesome products you never knew existed.

Of course, sometimes, unearthing those Costco gems can result in impulse purchases. So it’s important to set boundaries with yourself if you’re on a pretty tight budget.

Otherwise, it’s perfectly okay to admit that you get a little thrill from scooping up bargains at Costco.

Costco stuns beauty fans with new product offerings

Costco is known for having a wide range of inventory.

Sure, you can always find staple items like milk, eggs, bakery muffins, and toilet paper. But the more time you spend in the store, the more eclectic a selection of products you might discover, whether it’s an inflatable backyard hot tub or a new high-end blender that can pulverize your vegetables in seconds.

Recently, Costco added a selection of high-end designer fragrances to its product lineup. And not surprisingly, fans are going wild.

That’s because a number of fragrances that would normally retail for $150 or more at department and beauty stores are being offered to Costco members for under $60.

Some of the brands spotted on Costco’s shelves include:

Of course, Costco inventory can vary by store, so it’s not a given that you’ll find all (or any) of these at your local warehouse club. And while you could always dig around online, Costco prices do tend to be cheaper in stores.

But if you do happen to spot any of these designer fragrances, or similar ones, you may want to scoop them up.
