The Golden State Warriors are the most successful NBA franchise in recent memory.
After decades in the doldrums of the NBA — including an 18-year stretch from 1995 to 2012 when the team made the playoffs just once — the Warriors have won four championships since 2015. It is the only franchise with more than one title in that timeframe.

And the franchise isn’t just succeeding on the court.
Off the court, the Warriors have catapulted to the league’s most valuable franchise. According to Forbes, the Warriors are valued at $7.7 billion, over a $1 billion more than any other NBA franchise and are in the top three when considering all sports teams.
The team has capitalized on the popularity of its trio of stars in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Superstar Kevin Durant was also a member of two of the four championships which helped make the team the league’s darlings.
It also unveiled the Chase Center, the team’s new arena, in 2019, which moved its home base from Oakland to San Francisco.
The team has made additional business moves as of late, including announcing earlier this month that the same ownership group would be bringing an expansion team for the WNBA to the Bay Area. That new franchise, which is still nameless, will reportedly play its games at the Chase Center in 2025.

And the team just won another prize for 2025.
The Warriors and the Chase Center will play host to the 2025 NBA All-Star game, according to a report by Bloomberg. The Warriors last hosted the NBA All-Star game in 2000 from its arena in Oakland.
The details are reportedly not yet finalized as there are some finer points, such as union worker pay, that still need to be ironed out.
