It can be a bit slow but you can tune it to a degree.
If you want ReSharper I’d recommend using Rider if that’s an option, it’s great unless you are doing Blazor dev, in which case I have found resharper doesn’t cope well with the syntax anyway.
I’ve been a Resharper Ultimate subscriber for a couple of years. Canceled it this year.
Visual Studio improved in features enough that I no longer have much use for Resharper. And then there are the performance concerns.
Does it lag that badly?
Also roslynator is a nicer alternative (free and not so performance intense)
Been using it for years, definitely gets more sluggish as time goes by. But then, it’s a question of whether the slow down it causes is offset by the time I save. For my team it’s always an unequivocal yes.
I can’t seem to publish to IIS in Rider though, here. Would you know how to fix it?
