Every once in a while someone will send a post asking where they can get an elePHPant.
A couple months ago I contacted Vincent Pontier – the creator of the original PHP logo – and see if I could get three elePHPants. Vincent was very helpful and quick to send them from France.
He sent me an email last week and you can get one or more from his online shop https://www.vincentpontier.com/elephpant/
Here is the Official Elephpant Page, it has been updated with a video of him, which is very nice. https://www.elephpant.com/

Dear Santa….

If you are in Toronto I have several I’m giving away for free. I don’t really care about it anymore. I think the variants are an Orange, Blue and a Mammoth but need to double-check to make sure I’m not lying!
Edit: Got a bunch of messages and some DM’s. Too lazy to ship! Pick up or bust at the moment =)
Would you be willing to mail them? Iā€™m more than happy to cover any shipping/related expenses.
Thank you so much for this. Great thing for your desk or a relatively cheap stocking stuffer.
40.00ā‚¬ for a small stuffed toy? Are they joking?
Does the money go to the PHP foundation?
EDIT: Doesn’t matter got my self the Symfony version for half the price, link if anyone is interested: https://shop.symfony.com/products/small-symfony-elephpant
Stuffed toys often cost a bit afaik. I don’t know where does the money go, but Vincent Pontier designed the official elePHPant stuffed toy, and recently he designed the PHP 8 logo. What I’m saying is that it helps the community anyways šŸ™‚
But glad you found one, Symfony is a good choice imo.
Have mine for years on my desk but can’t wait for the upcoming PHP 8 version !
