Over the last few months, my priorities in wearables have changed. I’ve realized I don’t care about having Gemini on my wrist, multiple ways to reply to notifications, or even a robust app ecosystem. I simply want a wearable that’s comfortable on my wrist, lasts multiple days on a single charge, and offers a health/fitness tracking suite I enjoy using.

As such, I was really looking forward to the Fitbit Edge. Taking the week-long battery life of the excellent Fitbit Air and giving it a proper touchscreen — all while retaining a small and lightweight design — sounded like the perfect combination. And in some ways, it is.
