Las Vegas Strip casinos are looking forward to a new year of fresh headliner residencies to fill their theaters and showrooms with hopes that the crowds will help boost business after several months of lower gaming revenues.

Gambling win revenue at casinos on the Las Vegas Strip has declined for four straight months through October 2024, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The board had not yet revealed revenue for November and December as of Jan. 7.

With that in mind, hotel-casinos operated by Caesars Entertainment  (CZR) , MGM Resorts International  (MGM) , and Wynn Resorts  (WYNN)  have lined up a full slate of new music residencies for the first half of 2025, leading off with country star Blake Shelton who opens his first-ever residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from Feb. 5-15.

Caesars also has hard rockers Scorpions scheduled for PH Live at Planet Hollywood for five shows to celebrate their 60th Anniversary residency on Feb. 27, March 1, 6, 8, and 11, 2025.

Wynn Resorts’ Encore Theater at Wynn welcomes rock superstar Bryan Adams with his “Roll With The Punches 2025” residency on March 7, 8, 12, 14, 15, and 16.

MGM Resorts’ Dolby Live at Park MGM presents metal rock band Motley Crue for an 11-show residency on March 28 and 29; and April 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, and 19, 2025.

Then, Red Rocker Sammy Hagar follows Motley Crue at Dolby Live for a nine-show residency on April 30, May 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17, 2025.

Apollo Global Management’s  (APO)  Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Resort gets into the act with parody rocker Weird Al Yankovic for six shows on June 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, and 21.

Also coming to the Strip will be singer Josh Groban at the Colosseum in May, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in June, and New Kids On The Block at Dolby Live in June, July, and November, and stretching their residency a year into the future in February 2026.

Lenny Kravitz returns for Las Vegas Strip residency

Finally, superstar rocker Lenny Kravitz has extended his Blue Electric Light Las Vegas residency at Park MGM’s Dolby Live for five shows on Aug. 1, 2, 6, 8, and 9, 2025, after selling out the first leg of his residency that ran five nights at the same theater on Oct. 18-26, 2024, according to social media posts.

Ticket sales begin with Citi Cardmember and Official Platinum presales starting Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific time at Ticketmaster.com. Artist presales begin on Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific, and Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and SiriusXM presales begin Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

The “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer next month will embark on a 17-show European tour from Feb. 22- April 14, 2025.

Kravitz’s residency and tour celebrate his 12th studio album “Blue Electric Light,” which was released on May 24, 2024. The Grammy Award winner’s 11 previous albums have sold over 40 million copies.
