The Las Vegas Strip is filled with excitement whenever a new superstar headliner residency is ready to open.
When the performers are considered legendary or classic headliners, all the scheduled shows usually sell out, such as when U2, Dead & Company, and The Eagles performed their residency shows at Sphere Las Vegas. Or when Adele performed her 100 shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The excitement continues until a residency finishes its last show. Several popular engagements are coming to an end soon, but some will also return. Several country shows are coming to an end within just a few months of each other.

“Cindy is battling a very nasty flu. While she was hoping to be well enough to perform tonight, her doctor’s recommendation is to rest up and keep recuperating,” the band said on its Facebook page on April 16.
“Our sincerest apologies to our fans who made plans to come to the show tonight. We are so sad to disappoint anyone and also sad we won’t get to party with the greatest fans on earth; but, Cindy’s health is most important,” The B-52s frontman Fred Schneider said on Facebook.
“We always want to give our beloved fans the best show we can. Cindy’s on doctor’s orders to rest and get well so we can be ready to rock on Friday and Saturday as planned at the Venetian. Again, our sincere apologies,” The B-52s singer Kate Pierson said on Facebook.
Ticketholders for the April 16 show will receive an email from Ticketmaster with refund information, or they can reach out to their point of purchase for more information.
A review of available tickets for the April 18 and 19 shows revealed that both shows have plenty of seats available in all sections of the theater, and almost half the seats are available for the final show at last check.
