Eerie excitement is building in the cruise industry as October approaches. With more and more people falling under Halloween’s spell, more cruise lines are conjuring up Halloween cruises and spooky celebrations at sea for 2024.
Cruise lines like Carnival and Virgin Voyages are preparing to deck out for Halloween sailings all October long. On Disney Cruise Line, popular Halloween on the High Seas voyages begin sailing in mid-September.

Margaritaville at Sea invites brave cruisers to ‘Sail the Spooky Seas’
From Oct. 7 – Nov. 1, 2024, Margaritaville at Sea will lure passengers to its “newly haunted” ships with wickedly fun activities for all ages and devilishly delicious drinks and treats.
Passengers can “Sail the Spooky Seas” on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise sailing 2-, 3- and 4-night cruises from Palm Beach to the Bahamas and Key West, or the Margaritaville at Sea Islander sailing 4- and 5-night cruises from Tampa to Mexico and Key West.
The Halloween sailings will feature trick-or-treating, tongue-tingling cocktails, desserts to die for, thrilling entertainment, scream-a-longs, and scary-good fun. Spooktacular celebrations, and maybe something sinister, will haunt every deck. Passengers are encouraged to pack their creepiest costumes to participate in costume contests planned for each Halloween sailing.

Prices for Margaritaville at Sea’s Halloween cruises start at $59 per person, before taxes, fees, and port expenses, for a 2-night Bahamas cruise. The cruise line is also offering an onboard credit offer and a Kids Sail Free deal for new bookings made now through Oct. 8, 2024, for sailings through April 30, 2026, aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, and through December 31, 2025, aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.

The Kids Sail Free offer includes a free fare for 3rd and 4th passengers when they are between 3 and 12 years old at the time of departure and traveling in a stateroom with a minimum of two paying passengers. This offer is valid for all stateroom categories. The discount applies only to cruise fares and does not include taxes, fees, port expenses or any onboard charges.
