Netflix users on iOS no longer need to download episodes of their favorite shows one by one. The streamer just introduced a way to download an entire season of a TV show with one click on iPhones and iPads.
Netflix first let users download content to watch offline in 2016 and, over time, has added features to make it easier to download shows and movies or to delete downloads so you can free up space. In 2021, for example, it added the option for users to have the Netflix app automatically download shows and movies it predicted theyâd like based on their viewing history.
Android users already had access to the one-click season download feature, but hereâs how to use it if youâre new to it:
Open a showâs display page.
Next to the âshareâ button, click the âdownload seasonâ button.
All of the episodes from that season should be downloaded, and you can manage episodes under the the downloads section of the âMy Netflixâ tab.
Thatâs it! Now youâre ready for your long-distance flight.
