This year’s winter has been one of the coldest and most brutal in the last couple of years. It reached some of the lowest temperatures and caused nationwide snowfalls, even in the hottest states where snow is uncommon.Â
Although the winter season has never been more white, and snow days might be a fun excuse for a day off, this phenomenon has also led to many people falling ill and catching the dreaded cold or flu.
When you’re under the weather, food might be the last thing on your mind. However, despite the lack of appetite for anything solid, nothing tastes and feels better than slurping down a warm bowl of soup while lying in bed, cozy with a warm blanket.

Progresso announces the launch of its first-ever soup drops
“What’s a Soup Drop? Well, it’s soup you can suck on, of course!” The General Mills-owned brand Progresso GIS said this when it announced the launch of the first-ever limited-edition Soup Drops.
The Progresso Soup Drop is a mix between a cough drop and Progresso’s Chicken Noodle soup since it’s a hard candy drop that tastes like a bowl of Progresso soup. However, it’s more convenient and efficient because no preparation process is involved, and it can be consumed whenever and wherever.Â
