For many passengers, at least those who sail on larger ships. the ship is the destination.
That makes sense when you look at how much is offered on the world.s largest cruise ships. For example, you can spend a week on a Royal Caribbean Oasis- or Icon-Class ship, never get off in port, and not see everything on board.
The same applies to the largest ships in the Carnival, MSC, Norwegian and Celebrity Cruises fleets as well.

Ships are no longer just nice hotels with night-time entertainment. They’re destinations themselves, offering everything from bumper cars and laser tag to pickleball, escape rooms and amusement park-style rides.
The water parks on cruise ships now rival those on land (not in number of features but in quality), and the choices of things to do on ships have become overwhelming.
Travel agents/advisers help people book cruises and know which ships make the most sense for their customers. The Travvy Awards enable those industry professionals to honor their favorite ships.
“The annual awards, produced by TravelPulse and Agent at Home, shine a light on the best suppliers in the travel industry, ranging from cruise companies and hotels to destinations and tour operators,” TravelPulse reported.

“The strides taken in every segment of the industry — from air, rail, technology, and tour operators to hotels, rentals, destinations, cruise lines, and more — is inspiring. These organizations are incredibly deserving of the recognition bestowed upon them in winning a Travvy Award.”
