Capping off a very busy week in the world of gaming is Microsoft with its annual Xbox Games Showcase. There aren’t a lot of details or rumors of what to expect at this point, but Microsoft says that the event will feature “a look at brand-new games and updates from across our first-party studios and our incredible partners across the globe.” It’ll also be followed by a second stream focused entirely on the sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds 2.

Microsoft has had a fairly solid year so far with the likes of Avowed, South of Midnight, and Doom: The Dark Ages. And we know a handful of bigger titles are coming, including a remaster of the original Gears of War and Ninja Gaiden 4. Beyond that, though, it’s not clear what Xbox will be showing off, though maybe we’ll hear of even more games coming to the PS5 and, possibly, the Nintendo Switch 2. And hey, there’s always the long-rumored handheld.

You can watch the event on both YouTube and Twitch on June 8th at 1PM ET, and follow along with the latest developments right here.

And another one.
