people are using crap javascript frameworks and thinking that they are cool hipsters i really cannot understand why is aspnet so unpopular

For simple form /admin panel style sites IMHO asp.net is quicker, simpler and cleaner. At one stage I would have argued that with full understanding of the scope of a project and knowing it will stay simple choosing asp.net would be a good decision. After having moved on to knockout, angular, react and a bit of vue I wouldnt go back. I would be wasting other developers time upskilling them in asp.net for the very limited range of applications its suited for. They would be better off learning a js framework and implementing it in that.
But thats just me, I could be wrong.
