Why we love this deal
If there’s one thing that you can count on, it’s that the fall brings with it opportunities for cool outdoor fun. Whether it’s a football tailgate with your friends or post-Thanksgiving lounging with family, there’s always a need for a good rocking chair. Thanks to Amazon, you can get one with a special feature at a big discount in the final hours of Prime Big Deals Days. Standard rocking chairs are great, but one that can fold up and be portable is a special find. This deal is worth checking out if you’re a fan of versatile patio furniture that can go anywhere you do.
The Portal Oversized Folding Rocking Chair is available for only $51. That’s 43% off the original price of $90, but the deal will be gone before you know it, and you won’t see prices like these until Black Friday, when the holiday rush will be in full swing. And by then, it might not be patio season anymore, so now is the time to buy to maximize its use.

Why do shoppers love it?
This rocking chair is one of the most innovative lawn chairs we’ve seen in a while. It’s well made, practical, and comfortable. What more could you ask for in an affordable rocking chair? The powder-coated frame is rustproof and corrosion resistant, which makes it perfect for regular outdoor use. (Although you could technically use it indoors as well.) The canvas seat and back are also weatherproof and fade resistant, so you don’t have to worry about the quality depleting from the elements. At the center of the backrest is a large mesh panel. This panel allows for constant airflow, which is especially convenient on days when the autumn sun may be beating down on your back.
You’re able to use this chair just as you would any standard rocker, leaving it on the patio or deck day and night. That said, it can also be utilized as a portable lawn chair. It folds up to an easy carrying size in seconds and can be taken to the park, the beach, or even your kids’ sports games. When folded, it fits easily into the trunk of most vehicles and is easy to carry wherever you plan to use it. It includes a convenient carrying bag, making transporting it even easier. There’s also a useful drink holder that hangs from the edge of the seat, so you never have to be without your favorite libation.
As for comfort, this seat gets higher marks than you may expect. For starters, the rubberized ergonomic armrests keep your arms comfortable and cool. That’s because the frame portion of the armrests is covered, avoiding hot metal coming into contact with your arms on sunny days. According to buyers, the seat and back have ample give, while still offering plenty of support for your lower back. The gentle rocker at the bottom of the chair is just wide enough to give you a pleasing motion without feeling unstable. It’s available in seven trim levels and 12 color variants, so at this price you may want to buy more than one.

Amazon customers were pleased with this chair’s ingenious design. One described it as the “perfect camping chair,” adding that the “mesh backrest provides airflow so my back does not get sweaty.” The same buyer praised the rocker’s “sturdy construction.”
