Why we love this deal
When you’re decorating an area, whether it’s inside or outdoors, you need more than furniture to make a place feel homey. Areas to sit or recline on are important, as are flat, sturdy surfaces to to place items on or enjoy meals at, but smaller accents, like lighting, are the reason that a room or an outdoor area is one you gravitate towards when you relax. Your patio, pool deck, or backyard particularly benefits from the right lighting, and while overhead fixtures do a lot of good at helping you see what you need to see, it’s the candles, in-ground stake lights, strands, and smaller lanterns like the QiShi Hanging Solar Lantern that help set the ambiance for your outdoor area.
Unlike many outdoor lighting fixtures sold in sets of five or six, this lantern is sold in units of one, which might seem like an expensive venture when you need a handful of them, but thanks to Walmart Deals and a Walmart Flash you can get the $23 solar lantern on sale for 48% off. Take advantage of the markdown and get the weather-resistant light fixture for just $12 a piece right now.

Why do shoppers love it?
Outdoor lighting is just good for guidance to see where you’re going. It allows you to enjoy your outside time for far longer — no need to head in just because the sun has set — while highlighting aspects of your landscaping and giving your yard or backyard area more dimension and aesthetic appeal.
This lantern is crafted with a 360-degree pattern so that every surrounding area is blasted with the floral pattern designs carved into its metal shell. Made with stainless steel, it’s designed for durability in all kinds of weather, and although it’s advised you bring the lantern in during the colder months, like you would for patio furniture to preserve its quality, it certainly isn’t going to destruct with exposure to colder conditions as well as harsh rain. It even has an IP65 waterproof rating meaning it can handle slightly intense water pressure.
Measuring 5.1 inches long and 16.9 inches high, the lantern has a hollow design where a solar-powered warm white LED light sits, and will automatically turn on and off based on changing daylight. Designed for hassle-free operation, it automatically lights up at dusk after soaking up those vital UV rays, which powers the rechargeable battery, illuminating those unique flower patterns onto the surrounding surfaces until dawn triggers the auto shut-off. It provides the perfect warm, ambient glow that makes the atmosphere cozy and acts as an additional piece of decor.
